In the early 1990’s SICAM pioneered CAD Solid Modeling, Stereolithography (SLA) and Vacuum Cast Molding (VCM) technologies, which provided for the foundation of CAD Engineering, SLA 3D Printed Prototypes, and VCM Cast Urethane Prototypes services.
In 1996 SICAM pursued manufacturing in China and ventured into confidential agreements with our Chinesemanufacturing partners to provide contract manufacturing services for parts, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
Also in 1996, SICAM implemented our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, which integrates all aspects of our business. Our production control system forecasts, plans, and schedules workflow, manpower and materials to insure
quality and on-time delivery. All operations are completely integrated, from on line ordering through shipping of final product.
From 1997 to 2000 SICAM invested in the research and development of several rapid tooling technologies and in early 2002 our Precision Modular Tooling (PMT) technology was released to the market. PMT tooling allows us to rapidly provide clients with a cost-effective injection mold for prototyping, bridge tooling and short run production. In addition, SICAM has implemented ISO quality standards to ensure quality services and products.
In 2017 SICAM introduced (MJF) Multi Jet Fusion technology, developed by HP. MJF is a 3D Printing additive manufacturing technology which produces high strength, fine resolution, high quality functional parts that can be used for prototyping or for final production grade parts.
Over the years SICAM has employed powerful secured computer servers, backup systems and mass data storage systems for protecting both our company and our client’s data.
SICAM continues to expand and invest in CAD/CAM technologies for assisting our clients with reducing the time-to-market of their new products by providing high quality rapid product development and manufacturing services.
